Masterman, James. His wife was Hannah Daws (this actually may be DOW) Children: James Jr, Maraduke, Benjamin, Joseph, Daniel, Hannah, Sarah (Sprague may have been her middle name) and Rebecca.

Masterman, James Jr. he married his cousin Sarah Newman. Children: James, Hannah, Nancy, Oliver, Elmira and Eben

Newman, Ebenezer. His wife was Sarah Daws (Dow?) and a sister to Nathaniel Kittredge and also to Mrs. James Masterman. Newman children: Sarah, Nancy, Betsey, Hannah, Lucretia, Ebenezer, Susan, Martha, OLIver and Phebe. The oldest son of the Masterman family and the oldest daufhter of the Newman family were married and settled before the township was incorporated as a plantation.

Pratt, Jonathan, first tax collector. His wife was Isabella Collins. Children: Jonathan, Seth, Collins, Turner, Benjamin, Jason, Charles and Isabella, who was the second wife of Dea. Abel Holt.

Phelps, John. His wife was Dolly Clifford. Children: John, Uriah, Enoch, Hannah, Lois, Dolly, Betsey and Mahala.

Russell: There were Abel, Joseph, Ephraim, and John. John didn’t settle permanently (he moved to Phillips but later came back to Weld).

Abel: ma: Nancy Clement. Children: Abel, Charles, Nancy and Mary Ann.

Joseph: ma: Sarah Holt. Children: Abel, Joseph, Jacob, Brooks, Hannah, Mary, Abiah.

Ephraim: Ma; Rebecca Ireland, sister of Abrahm Ireland. Children: Ephraim, Reuben, Perkins, James, Rebecca, Betsey, and Nancy.
