My name is Sherrill McAloney Brown, and I am the host of this page.
Sebago is a small town located on the western shore of Sebago Lake. It
was first settled in
1750 and incorporated in 1826. The year round population of 1,300
swells
to around 5,000
during the summer months. The many large inns and hotels that once
dotted
the landscape,
along with quaint summer cottages, attracted vacationers and tourists
from
all over the
United States. Their families continue to call Sebago their summer
vacation
home.
The principal settlements of Sebago are: Hillside, Convene, Sebago
Center,
East Sebago,
North Sebago and Long Beach.
