* Who are parents of Betsey Ford Dutton?
* According to Stackpole's Hx of Winthrop, Info added by Young & Young, pg.741, Ruth Dutton died on 2/10/1804. Document of guardianship in Ellsworth courthouse shows Ruth was assigned over to attorney, John Godfrey on 7/8/1807, the same day as Elizabeth was to the Balches. We are interested in any information on Ruth's whereabouts after this date?! Any other info on this family would also be welcomed!
Dear Bob:
Sorry for the error in the Winthrop. Maine History but thanks for the correction. Would it be okay if I posted your additions and corrections in the Maine USGW Archives?
If I should ever reprint the Winthrop, Maine History I would like permission to use the below information in it also.
I will recheck my sources and see what information I might have over looked.
I do not have an obit on James Dutton but I do have a marriage for Sophia Dutton to John Godfrey Esq at Bangor, Maine. See Gazette of Maine (Bucksport, Hancock Co) 25 June 1807 Freeman's Friend of Saco 11 Jul 1807   Eastern Argus of Portland 23 Jul 1807. I notice Samuel Dutton m Nancy Jordan at Ellsworth in 1811.
Enjoy, David C. Young
