I am researching my Barton ancestry in Maine and have discovered a Robert Barton "of Falmouth" who married Susannah Lain in 1803 on Vinalhaven. He is not listed in the 1800 census of Vinalhaven, so he must have removed there after 1800 and before 1803. I figure he must have been born about 1780 or so. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
