GREEN HILL METHODIST CHURCH CEMETERY - SENKBEIL ROAD

This shot of the cemetery was taken during CemTrek2002 on August 4, 2002.

Located on Senkbeil Road, which jogs off of and back into the northwest side of Whitehaven Road and north side of Green Hill Creek (between Head Of The Creek Rd. and Nebo Rd.), this graveyard listing was identified as the "Taylor Family Burying Ground" and transcribed by Margaret Strong 17 May 1992. There is no church building in the vicinity, but "Green Hill Methodist Church Cemetery" is how it is identified in Jacobs' book. Here's what Margaret says about this graveyard: "When we visited this cemetery in 1992, it was nicely maintained. I do not know by whom. To my best memory, this is a complete listing. There were some graves on the east side that were in the bushes and the names were either illegible or completely worn off. There might be others in the overgrown areas around the outside of the burial area. I do not know if some new ones have been added since 1992. We are amateurs at this, but copied the names and addresses the way we saw them. My ancestors are James T. and Isabella Taylor. Does anyone know more about them?
