HALL FAMILY GRAVEYARD

This cemetery is located at 27548 Fairmount Road in Upper Fairmount, on the grounds of the Community of the Ascension (Sanctuary House). The graves are easily accessible, situated near a main road. Elizabeth L. HALL, d. 1873, aged 70 years.
"She was a consistent member of the M.E. Church about 50 years."

Sarah HALL, wife of Tubman L. Hall, and daughter of Lazarus and Sarah Maddux, d.April 28, 1874, aged 68 years.
"From a child she was a consistent member of the M.E. Church, her end was peaceful & triumphant. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his Saints. Psa. 116 chap & 15 verse."

Tubman L. HALL, b. March 15, 1801, d. Sept. 28, 1890.
"Sweetly Resting."

Children of L. J. & Julia L. Hall
Edgar HALL, b. July 28, 1964, aged 10 days
Tubman L. HALL, b. Nov. 17, 1869, aged 3 years
"Asleep in Jesus."

Julia Ann HALL, d. Aug. 7, 1860, aged 61 years.
"To live is Christ and to die is gain."

Margaret HALL, d. Dec. 19, 1860, aged 90 years.
"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints."

Sarah S. HALL, wife of Edward T. Hall, b. July 14, 1816, d. Feb. 7, 1881.
"Asleep in Jesus."

Henry D. MADDUX, son of Littleton D. Maddux, b. July 11, 1816, d. Jan 20, 1838 (?)

Littleton D. MADDUX, d. June 28, 1851, aged 77 years.

Edward T. HALL, son of Edward T. and Sarah S. Hall, b. May 13, 1839, d. Mar. 18, 1864.

Edward T. HALL, d. Sept. 19, 1848, aged 38 years, 5 months, 26 days.

There is also one gravestone with an illegible name, followed by: son of Re'd I & I.C. Brindle, d. Nov. 11, 1858, aged 10 years, 6 months.
"[God] in his wisdom has recalled a precious boy his love had given & though the casket moulders him the gem is sparkling now in heaven."
