On the 1850 Census he is listed as living in Carroll County, MD. Occupation, Miller. There are three children, Angeline, 8, Seldon, 6, and Lucretia A.E., 1 year old. By 1860 Samuel moved to Baltimore Maryland and lived out his days in Baltimore, occupation: Carpenter. There are other Wink names listed on these census pages. Most of them were farmers. George Wink, Farmer, may have been Samuel's father. Samuel Wink's daughter, Lucretia A.E. later married my gg uncle, Alexander Ross. I believe they lived in or near Uniontown, Carroll Co., Maryland in the mid 1800s. Their son, Jacob Martin Rowe, was born in Uniontown on Aug 6, 1851. I only know that Granddad's last residence was 534 Stone Road, Westminster. I'm not sure how to find out what county that is in. He had several sisters and brothers. Here is exactly what I have. Also data on family that spread out from Piatt Co, Il. For some reason, there was a mass migration ca 1854/55 to Piatt Co, Il. of the Luscaleet Family. Most of the older ones are buried at White Heath, Piatt, Il.[ch of William and Susan ( have not found them to date). Am looking for proof of parents of William, John Burgess, Elizabeth Ann, Ann whom I believe were all brothers and sister. Possible parents: William and Eleanor Franklin Luscaleet. Luscaleet is how my branch of the family spells the name tho Luskaleet has also been used. Lescaleet is found on one of the stones.
