David Studebaker Born 1773 in Cumberland Valley, PA. Died 12/21/1840. Married Catherine Michaels 6/14/1803 in Worth Twp, Butler Co. David was the first pioneer settler in Butler County in 1790 and his marriage to Catherine was the first marriage recorded in Worth Twp. David served in the War of 1812 in Capt John Shaffer's Co. as a private from January 12, 1814 to March 19, 1814 at the battle of Lake Erie. He served with the 138th Regiment, Pennsylvania Militia.

Joseph Studebaker Sr. Born in 1744 in Cumberland Valley, PA. Died 4/-/1813. Married in Cumberland Valley, PA, c.1772 to Mary Mollie Teeter (b.c.1745, d.c.1840). Joseph was a Revolutionary War veteran with Capt James Leech's Company of Westmoreland County Militia of PA (note 1).

(Johan) Heinrich Studebaker Baptized 9/19/1708 in Solingen, Germany. Married c.1740 in PA to ___ Kellough. Heinrich immigrated from Germany in 1736 with cousins Peter and Clement whose decendents eventually formed the Studebaker automobile company (note 2). Heinrich and his wife were both killed by Indians, 3/3/1756, in Peters Twp, Cumberland Co, PA (now Montgomery Twp, Franklin Co, PA).

Peter Staudenbecker Born c.1600 in KSPL Luettringhausen (today Remscheid). Died 3/11/1676. Married 1632 to Anna ? (b.c.1606). Children: Unknown (b. before 1670), Margareta (b.c.1636), Drees (d.1671), Anna (d.1704), and Caspar.

Staudenbeker Born c.1570/75. Children: Peter (1600-1676), Margareta (c.1600-1686), Andreas "Drees" (1605-1684/88) (ancestor of the 1736 immigrants Peter and Clemens), Englebert (c.1610), Anna (b.c.1616-1885).
