Mrs. Sarah M. Barnett, daughter of R. B. and Mary Swindler, was born July 9th 1836 and died December 28, 1890.
Sister Barnett professed faith in Christ and was baptized into the fellowship of Teay's Valley Baptist Church in 1848 and in 1876 united with the Coal's Mouth Baptist Church by letter.
She was married to James T. Barnett, May 24, 1858. She leaves a husband, six sons and one daughter to mourn her loss. Sister Barnett was a true, faithful and loving mother and wife; and a consistent Christian. She was in feeble health for several years before her death, but whenever possible she met with the bretheren and sisters at church.
