JAMES W. REYNOLD'S DEATH
OCCURED YESTERDAY AT HIS HOME AT MALDEN
James W. Reynolds, son of H. W. Reynolds and Helen Reynolds, of this city, and brother of Tom W. Reynolds, clerk of Hotel Ruffner, John P. Reynolds. engineer on the K & M railway, and Mrs. William Lohmeyer, died at his home at Malden at 11 O'Clock yesterday after a short illness with typhoid fever. Mr. Reynold's age was 42 years, amd for the past 19 years he has been employed as a storekeeper by the Campbell's Creek Coal company.
He leaves a wife, who was the daughter of E. Rooke, of Malden, one son, Frederick, aged 16 years, and a daughter Julia aged 14. At the time of his death he was worshipful master of Salina Lodge, No. 27, A. F. & A. M. under the auspices of which the burial will be conducted. He was also a member of the Knights of Pythias, Red Men and Odd Fellows. The funeral services will take place at the Presbyterian church at Malden at 11 o'clock tomorrow morning and will be conducted by the pastor, Rev. F. L. McCue. Arrangements have been made for a steamer to leave the wharf in this city at 9:30 o'clock Sunday morning to take all who desire to attend the funeral. After the services at the church the body will be conveyed to this city on the steamer and interred in Spring Hill Cemetery.
The deceased has many friends in this city and was highly respected by all who knew him. For many years he has been a consistent member of the Presbyterian church at Malden and took great interest in all work of the church.
