Husband's General Notes
William Henry enlisted in the Union army at Pt. Pleasant, West Virginia on March 17, 1863. He was discharged at Wheeling, West Virginia on June 22, 1865. During the war he contracted a lung disease and was hospitalized at Harper Ferry and at Annapolis. He never fully recovered from this disease and died two years following his discharge.
