Charleston, May 7, 1889
This afternoon Mrs. Sarah Brillhart, a widow, residing on Second Creek, this county, was engaged in assisting her two sons burning brush and cleaning up ground, when she became enveloped by fire. She was so badly burned that she died two hours afterward. Both her boys were seriously burned in trying to rescue her. She leaves a large family.
