Mrs. John E. Casto
Mrs. John E. (Renna)Casto, 80, Marietta Rt. 6, died at 10:30 p.m. Saturday at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 23, 1890, in Jackson County, W. Va., a daughter of the late Edward and Ella Garnes Molze. On July 1, 1911, she was married to John W. Casto, who preceeded her in death on Dec. 23, 1970.
Eight son and three daughters survive: Edward, Ira, Richard, John, Robert, Russell, Paul, and Ronald Casto, Mrs. Harold (Gladys) Sheppard, Mrs. James (Mary) Alexander, and Mrs. Charles (Jean) Britton, all of Marietta. Three sons, Cleo, Donald, and Ernest, preceded her in death. There are 38 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren. Two brothers and a half-brother, Henry, Thomas, and Joseph Molze, and one sister, Mrs. Garland (Elizabeth) Withrow, preceeded her in death.
Mrs. Casto attended Wayne Street Congregational Church.
Services will be tomorrow in Doudna & McClure Funeral Home with James Usrey officiating. Burial will be in Valley Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.

General Notes for Child Thomas Wesley Moles

From a newspaper clipping, dated 9-16-1962, presumably from a Marietta, Ohio newspaper:

THOMAS W. MOLZE
Thomas Wesley Molze, 70, died Sunday morning at his home on Poplar St. Extension.
He was born Nov. 4, 1891, at Kenna, W. Va., a son of the late Edward and Ella Garnes Molze. On Oct. 14, 1957, he married Mrs. Irena Scott who survives. One daughter survives by a former marriage, Mrs. Orville Gunnoe of Dallas, Tex. A son, Milton, died in infancy. Two grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. John E. Casto of Marietta Rt. 6 and a number of nephews and nieces also survive. Two brothers and one sister are deceased.
Mr. Molze came to Marietta in 1913. He had been employed at the Marietta Chair Co. and at Remington-Rand, and had also been a male nurse at the Washington County Home.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Friends may call at Doudna & McClure Funeral Home.
