General Notes for Child John R. Dawson
According to "History of Charleston and Kanawha County" by W.S. Laidley, John brought his family to Kanawha County in 1810 and first lived in Spring Hill. He then moved with his family to Sissonville about 1813. John Dawson's appraisement sale on 14 July 1855 is recorded in the Kanwha County Will Book 1, page 622 and 641. John Williams, his son-in-law, was the adminstrator of the estate.
WTF#2 has a John Dawson who married Elener Williams on November 25, 1790 in Bedford, Virginia.
