Died on the 23rd ult., Samuel McClaskey of this county aged 65 or 66 years 2 months and 4 days. He served at Norfolk, Virginia, as a soldier, in the War of 1812, and immigrated to Kanawha County, in about the year 1816, where he has lived ever since. He leaves a wife and 7 children.
