Wednesday August 23, 1865
CONNER - On Sunday, August 6th at his residence on Elk River near Charleston in the 53rd year of his age. Preston Conner was born in Clark County, Kentucky, but removed at an early age to Virginia. He was an esteemed citizen, and leaves a large family to mourn his loss.
