John Richards will was signed 27 Oct 1796, Franklin County, North Carolina. His wife Francis and his oldest son Williamson were named executors of the will. In 1818 Francis and the other children sued Williamson for a division of the property. Bob, the slave that Francis had inherited from her father John PERRY of Franklin Co., N.C., was sold for the division of the property.
