| Charles F. Ahern, 72 Amsden st., died Aug. 19. Surviving are his wife Josephine A. Ahern; sons Colonel Thomas J. Ahern, U.S.M.C. and Charles J. Ahern and daughter Ruth Shannon. Funeral services were held from the Daniel F. O'Brien Funeral Home, 226 Mass. ave., Arlington, Saturday, at 7 a.m. with a Requiem High Mass at the Immaculate Conception Church at 8 a.m. He was a late member of the Pere Marquette Council 271, K. of C., and retired customs examiner. |
