The funeral of Mrs. Marguerite (Ahern) Russell, wife of Harry A. Russell, who died suddenly last Friday morning at her home, 78 Cutter Hill road, was held Monday morning. A solemn high mass of requiem was celebrated in St. Agnes' Church. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Mrs. Russell was born in Arlington forty-eight years ago and was a graduate of Portia Law School. She was a member of the Massachusetts Bar; Women's Lawyers' Club, Boston; St. Agnes Court, C.D. of A., and was formerly president of the Office Workers' Union, A. F. of L. in Boston. Besides her husband, she leaves a brother, Robert A. [sic] Ahern; a sister, Miss Frances Ahern; and her mother, Mrs. Margaret Ahern, all of Arlington.
