DEATHS
   Valasis Kyriotis died Sunday afternoon at the Lowell General Hospital, aged 40 years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Georgia W. Kypriotis [sic], of Lowell, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Kypriotis [sic] of Greece. Three sons. Arthur, William and Nicholas, of Lowell and three daughters, Florence, Anna and Julia, all of Lowell.

MICHAEL J. DALY
   The many friends of Michael J. Daly will be sorry to learn of his death at his home, 29 Agawam street early this morning after a short illness. He had been a former member of St. Peter's parish until taking up his abode in the Sacred Heart parish about 12 years ago, and was well and favorably known throughout the city, having been a valued employee of the Heinze Electric Co. for the past 25 years. He was a member of Court Middlesex-Dimon, Foresters of America, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and the Holy Name society of the Sacred Heart church. Besides his wife, Mrs. Nora (Shea) Daly, he is survived by three sons, Frank J., Leo M. and William H. Daly of this city; two sisters, Mrs. James Durkin and Mrs. Peter Gill; one brother, Thomas Daly; two grand-children, and several nieces and nephews.

ELIZABETH (CAMPBELL) CAVERLY
   Elizabeth (Campbell) Caverly, wife of Harold Caverly, died Saturday night at her home, 33 Willow street, Belmont. She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Nancy Caverly; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William J. Campbell of this city; two sisters, Helen Campbell of this city and Mrs. Sayles Gorham of Providence, R. I., and two brothers William A. Campbell of Lowell, and F. Douglas Campbell of New York city. Mrs. Caverly was a graduate of the Lowell General hospital.

LEOPOLD LEBRUN
   The many friends of Leopold Lebrun will be grieved to hear of his death which occurred Saturday morning at his home, 33 Tucker street, after a long illness at the age of 30 years and 3 months. He leaves his mother, Mrs. Arthemise (Marchand) Lebrun; two sisters, Mrs. Alphonse Desrosiers and Miss Bernadette Lebrun; a brother, Adelard Lebrun; two half-sisters, Mrs. Charles [illegible] and Mrs. Michael Connelly; three half-brothers, Amedee, Joseph and Pierre Lebrun, all of this city. He was a member of Rochambeau Council of the Royal Arcanum and a member of the Sacred Heart League of St. Joseph's parish.

MRS. CATHERINE BURKE
   Mrs. Catherine (Cullinan) Burke, widow of Henry J. Burke and one of Collinsville's best known residents died Saturday morning at her home, 37 Cottage street, after a long illness. She was a devout attendant of St. Mary's church and a member of the Immaculate Conception Sodality connected with the church. She leaves four sons, John E. and Thomas J. Burke of Collinsville; two daughters, the Misses Mary A. and Katherine I. Burke of Collinsville and many nieces and nephews.

WILLIAM H. AHERN
   The many friends of William H. Ahern, formerly of the N. W. Webb Co., and now connected with the Middlesex Supply Co. of this city, will regret to learn of the death of his mother, Mrs. Johanna E. Ahern, which occurred Friday at her home at 12 Lindenwood road, Stoneham. Funeral will take place this morning.

SAAD ABDALLAH
   Saad Abdallah, a prominent member of the Syrian community, died yesterday afternoon at his home, 22 Lagrange street, after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife; one son, Albert Abdallah, and two daughters.

   BURKE—In Dracut, June 30, at her home, 37 Cottage street, Collinsville, Mrs. Catherine Burke.
   The funeral will take place Tuesday morning at 8 o'clock from her home. Solemn high funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's church at 9 o'clock. The burial will be in St. Patrick's cemetery under the direction of Undertakers James F. O'Donnell & Sons.
   CAVERLY—In Belmont, June 30, at her home, 33 Willow street, Mrs. Elizabeth (Campbell) Caverly.
   Funeral services will be held from her home, 33 Willow street, Belmont, at 2 o'clock, Tuesday afternoon. Burial in the Lowell cemetery.
   DALY—In this city, July 2, 1934, Michael J. Daly, at his home, 29 Agawam street.
   Funeral will take place from his home at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning. Solemn high mass at the Sacred Heart church at 10 o'clock. Burial will be in St. Patrick's cemetery. Funeral arrangements will be in the charge of Funeral Director Henry M. O'Brien.
   KYRIOTIS—In this city, July 1, 1934, at Lowell General Hospital, Valasis Kyriotis, aged 40 years.

   PELCZAR—In this city, June 30, at 123 High street, Marya Pelczar, aged 38 years.
   Funeral Tuesday morning at 8 o'clock from her home, 123 High street. Funeral high mass at the Holy Trinity Polish church in High street at 9 o'clock. Burial in Holy Trinity cemetery, in charge of Funeral Director Joseph Urbanek.
   RICE—At Woburn, June 30, Mary Catherine (Scott) Rice, wife of Fred J. Rice, formerly of Tewksbury.
   Funeral Tuesday at 8.45 a.m. from her home, 9 Cleveland avenue, Woburn. Requiem high mass at St. Charles' church at 9.30 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Interment at Lowell.
   TUCKER—In Dracut, June 30, by drowning, Thomas Nelson Tucker of Nashua road, Dracut, aged 24 years, 3 months and 13 days.
   Services will be held Tuesday afternoon, July 2, at 2 o'clock at the Funeral Church, 236 Westford street. Friends invited. White & Roy service.

FUNERALS
MARY R. FISH
   The funeral of Miss Mary Ruth Fish, daughter of Herbert R. Fish and the late Mary A. (Bromely) Fish, took place this morning at 8.30 o'clock from the O'Donnell Funeral Home, 166 Pawtucket street, at Fletcher street. Many relatives and friends, including many from out of town, were present. Also in attendance at the funeral was the following delegation from the Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War: President Mrs. Florence Gookin, Mrs. Etta Fields, Mrs. Grace Flynn, Mrs. Mae Bedard, Mrs. Annie O'Hearn, Mrs. Annie O'Hearn, Mrs. Harriet Bancroft and Mrs. Grace Noonan. At St. Margaret's church at 9 o'clock a funeral high mass was celebrated by Rev. Arthur McQuaid. . . .

MRS. IDA JANE MATTHEWS
   Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Jane Matthews, a well known resident of this city and the widow of the Rev. N. W. Matthews, were held from the Blake Funeral home, Westford street at Stevens street, yesterday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Prayers were held at the Funeral home, Rev. William T. Blackeby, D. D., of Brooklyn, N. Y., and Rev. John T. Ullom of this city officiating. Funeral services took place from the Matthews Memorial church at 2 o'clock and were largely attended, Rev. C. H. Kershaw of Providence, R. I., giving the Scripture lesson, Rev. W. B. Sharp of Methuen offering prayer, Rev. J. T. Ullom, remarks, and Rev. Joseph Gorton, poems, assisted by Harry Needham who sang appropriate selections. Charles Pierce was the organist.
   The bearers were George Pihl, William Nelson, Stephen Ashton, Arthur Chapman, Frank Killerby and Joseph Higginbottom. There were many flowers. Burial was in the Edson cemetery where services were held, Rev. John T. Ullom reading the committal service, Rev. A. M. Butterfield, prayer and the Rev. W. B. Taylor, D. D., of Longsdale, R. I., benediction. The funeral was in charge of Sam Asquith under the direction of Funeral Director W. Herbert Blake.

EDWARD C. STREETER
   Funeral services for Edward C. Streeter were held at his home, 184 Sixth street, Saturday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock and were largely attended by relatives, friends and fraternal associates. Ancient York lodge, A. F. and A. M., was represented by George W. Randall; Highland Council, R. A. by Albert W. Phinney, secretary, Clement B. Stoddard, P. R., and Myron L. Brainard; Dracut Grange, 216, by Pauline F. Varnum, lecturer, Maud M. Fox, chaplain, and Mrs. Jennie M. Varnum. The services were conducted by Rev. Isaac Smith, M. A., pastor of Grace Universalist church, There were many floral tributes. The bearers were Clayton B. Stoddard, Even Goodrich, Myron J. Brainard and Charles J. Kimball. Interment took place in the family lot in the Edson cemetery, where the committal service was read by Rev. Mr. Smith. Funeral arrangements were in charge of Funeral Director William H. Saunders.

MRS. JULIA L. LAWRENCE
   Funeral services for Mrs. Julia Lunette (Day) Lawrence were held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mabel A. Steele, 19 Crescent street, yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock and were largely attended by friends and neighbors. Present at the services were Mrs. Eleanor Boyd of Beverly, secretary of the True Blue Club. Rev. Ambrose M. Bailey, D. D., pastor of the First United Baptist church, of which Mrs. Lawrence was a member, officiated. Mrs. Charles L. Tilton jr. sang “Sometime We'll Understand” and “Softly and Tenderly.” There were many floral tributes. The bearers were Norman L. Lawrence, William J. Caddell, Thomas Cunliffe and George W. Flanagan. Interment took place in the family lot . . .
