TOWN ACCOUNTANT DEAD
Everett S. Bull of Billerica
Dies After Brief Illness at Local Hospital.
Everett S. Bull, accountant for the town of Billerica for 12 years and prior to that time town tax collector for ten years, died last night at the Lowell General hospital after a brief illness. He was taken ill Friday evening and soon lapsed into unconsciousness, from which he did not recover. Mr. Bull is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John E. Bull of Billerica, and one brother, Rev. Wilbur I. Bull, pastor of the Oxford county, Me., United Parish church, located in North Waterford; one nephew and two nieces; an uncle, Sidney A. Bull, of Billerica, also other relatives in that town.

He was born in Burlington on Oct. 14, 1882, and attended the public schools of Billerica, to which his family moved in 1893. After having been graduated from Howe High school, he attended business school in Boston and worked in that city as an accountant for a few years, giving up his post there to become associated in business with his father in Billerica. From 1907 to 1917 he served as collector of taxes for the town and in 1917 when the bookkeeping system of the town was changed, he accepted the post of auditor, which he held until his death.

He was a member of Thomas Talbot lodge, AF and AM, and also its past master and treasurer and director of the Bennett Public Library association, a trustee of the Howe High school and a member of the Billerica Historical society. Mr. Bull was a member of the Billerica Congregational church and its organist for several years.

The wedding of Miss Mary Elizabeth Higgins, daughter of Mrs. Malvina Higgins of 18 Jay street, and Robert Joseph Ahern, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Ahern of 21 Webster street, Arlington, took place on Thanksgiving morning at [illegible] o'clock in the Church of St. John the Evangelist, North Cambridge. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Joseph J. Leonard who was also celebrant of the nuptial mass that followed. Miss Frances Ahern, sister of the bridegroom was the bridesmaid, and James J. Higgins, brother of the bride was the best man. The bride wore white crepe de chine with veil and carried white roses. The bridesmaid was attired in tan brown velvet with hat to match and carried tea roses.

A reception and wedding breakfast followed the church ceremony at the home of the bride's mother on Jay street. Only immediate members of both families and relatives attended the reception. After a wedding trip to New York Mr. and Mrs. Ahern will reside in Arlington. The bride is a native of this city and daughter of the late Patrolman James Higgins of the Somerville police, and Mrs. Malvina Higgins. She is a graduate of the Somerville schools.

O'HEARN—Died Dec. 20th, at the Lowell General Hospital, Patrick O'Hearn. The funeral will take place Monday morning at 9 o'clock from the home, 282 Riverside street, and a solemn high funeral mass will be sung at St. Rita's church at 10 o'clock. The burial will be in St. Patrick's cemetery under the direction of Undertakers James F. O'Donnell & Sons.
