   Joseph Roach died last evening at the Lowell hospital, aged 27 years. He leaves his father and mother of Main River, N.B.; six brothers, James of Main River, Thomas of Washington, Anthony of Oregon, David of Washington, John of Main River and Leonard of Alberta; four sisters, Mrs. Daniel Sullivan of Kouchivouguac, Nellie and Matilda of Main River and Albina of Boston. The body was taken to the rooms of Undertakers Jas. F. O'Donnell & Sons.
   Mrs. Celia Walsh Millman died last night at her home, 107 Cushing street. She leaves her parents, David and Mary Walsh; two daughters, Mrs. Norman Kydd and Mrs. Frank Greenwood; three sons, Chester, Leo and Fred; six brothers, Cornelius, Ambrose, Robert, William, James and Ernest Walsh; one sister, Mrs. Harry Rose. The body was taken to the rooms of Undertakers James F. O'Donnell & Sons.
   Alvin D. Higgins, vice president and general manager of the Bigelow-Hartford Carpet Co., died suddenly yesterday afternoon of heart disease, while he was at this office at the company's plant at Thompsonville, Ct.
   News of his death reached Lowell late yesterday and was a shock to all because not long before Mr. Higgins had been talking over the wire with the Lowell plant.
   Mr. Higgins was well known to the Lowell manufacturers and was in this city regularly since the Lowell plant was absorbed by the Hartford interests.
