Latest reports from W.A. White say that he has been enjoying outdoor exercises for the last two weeks, but is now laid up with a bad cold.

OBITUARY
   The body of Gideon Marshall, who was found in the water at Gilmanton, N.H. recently, was brought to this city yesterday by Undertaker Young. The age of the deceased was 23 years. He has relatives living in Tewksbury Centre.
   Mrs. Elizabeth F. Hutchins died yesterday afternoon at her home, 52 Parker street. Her age was 64 years and four months. She was the widow of Samuel Hutchins who died last November. She is survived by one brother, Felix McGowan.
   Mrs. Lucy Fairbrother died last evening at her home 33 Talbot avenue, North Billerica. Her age was 34 years. She is survived by a husband John T. Fairbrother, parents Mr. and Mrs. John Morris, five children, four brothers, Joseph, Edward, William and Raymond Morris, and five sisters Mrs. Timothy Mahoney, Mrs. William Kidder, Mrs. Jeanette Gonyea, and the Misses Mabel and Mary Morris.
   John Griffin died last evening at the City hospital. His body was taken in charge by Higgins brothers. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Huntley of Chicago and Mrs. Murphy of Philadelphia; one son Bryant Griffin of Toledo, Ohio and one brother Martin Griffin of Quincy. MARRIAGE
   Mr. Edward Chambers and Miss Mabel F. Riley were united in marriage last evening at the parochial residence of the Sacred Heart church , Rev. T. Wade Smith, O.M.I. performing the ceremony. The bride was attended by Miss Anastasia Riley, and Mr. John Chambers was best man.
FUNERALS
   The funeral of Miss Agnes Foley took place yesterday from the residence of her brother, Charles D. Foley of 14 Ellsworth street. Funeral mass was celebrated at the Sacred Heart church at 9 o'clock. Rev. T. Wade Smith, O.M.I., pastor of the church celebrated the mass. The bearers were James Shea, Michael Winn, John Clark, Frank Morrisey, John Perry and Thomas J. Keegan. Burial was in the family lot in St. Patrick's cemetery under the direction of Undertaker J.F. Rogers.
   The funeral of Joseph H. McGrath took place yesterday from his home on Highland avenue, North Chelmsford and was largely attended. At St. John's church at 9 o'clock a funeral mass was sung by Rev. Fr. Schofield. The bearers were James McQuade, William Quigley, John Harrington, Robert Bailey, Fred McEnaney and Edward Duffy. Mr. James Quigley served as usher at the house and church. The burial was in St. Patrick's cemetery, this city, under the charge of Undertaker J. F. O'Donnell and sons.
   The funeral of Mrs. Rose J. Weir took place from the home of her son, William J. Weir, 33 Ellsworth street Tuesday afternoon. Services were held at the house, Rev. J. M. Craig officiating. The bearers were J. W. Marshall, J. Nichols, George McKee and Thomas McGrath. Burial was in the Edson cemetery, where Rev. Mr. Craig read the burial services. The funeral was under the direction of Undertaker John J. O' Connell.

Funerals
   The funeral of the late John Griffin was held yesterday at 8:30 o'clock from the rooms of Undertaker Higgins in Lawrence street and at 9 a funeral mass was celebrated at the Church of the Sacred Heart. Rev. Bernard Fletcher O.M.I. officiating. The choir rendered the Gregorian mass. Seated within the sanctuary rail was Rev. T. Wade Smith O.M.I., pastor of the church. There was a profusion of beautiful floral pieces showing the esteem in which the deceased was held by his many friends and acquaintances. The deceased was the first sexton of the Sacred Heart church and was for over 20 years in the parish. The bearers were Messers. Bryan Griffin of Quincy, Martin Flaherty of Woburn, Patrick Flaherty, William Flaherty, Coleman Connolly, and Patrick Griffin of Cambridge. Among the many mourners from out of town were friends from Boston, Cambridge, Woburn, Quincy and Dorchester. Burial was in the family lot in St. Patrick's Cemetery where the committal prayers were read by Rev. Bernard Fletcher, O.M.I. The funeral was largely attended and in charge of Higgins Bros., undertakers. [Have information on John Griffin.-RKN]
   The funeral of the late Mrs. Bridget McGovern took place yesterday at 8:30 from her home, 63 Lagrange street, and was very largely attended. A funeral high mass was celebrated in St. Patrick's church at 9 o'clock by Rev. Fr. Callahan. M.F. Johnson was director of the choir. The burial was in St. Patrick's cemetery where Rev. Fr. Callahan read the committal prayers. The bearers were Messers. P. Conroy, M. Smith, T. Sullivan, F. Flynn, M. McPartland and M. Savage. Charles H. Molloy & Sons were the undertakers.
   The funeral of Miss Ella A. Mayo took place yesterday from her home, No. 10 Fifth St. at 9 o'clock. There were many beautiful floral tributes, mute testimony of the esteem in which deceased was held by her many friends and relatives. The body was forwarded to her old home, Plattsburg, N.Y. for burial by Funeral Director James W. McKenna.
