Man Fined For Breaking Windows
William Donohue came down from New Hampshire Saturday and visited at the Navy Yard in Dracut. During the afternoon he called at a saloon there and was thrown out. To be so rudely ejected did not please him and he wreaked his vengeance on windows in the same building but not in the barroom. He called an innocent woman vile names and made himself so obnoxious that it was necessary to arrest him. Donohue didn't have any very great excuse to offer. He denied that he had been thrown out of the saloon and said he broke the windows because water had been thrown on him from one of the windows that he broke. He was fined $12. If he fails to pay the fine in three days he will be sent to jail for a term of three months.
For Stealing Metal
William J. Thomas pleaded guilty to a complain charging him with the larceny of nine pounds of brass and ten pounds of another metal from the Bigelow Carpet company. There were two counts against him and he was fined $13 on each count.

Chief Urquhart has issued circulars notifying residents that the firing of rockets, fire crackers, pistols, etcetera, is positively forbidden, except between the hours of 4 a.m. and 12 o'clock midnight of July 4th. The above is to be strictly enforced and citizens of the town are asked to cooperate with the police in carrying out the order. The statutes controlling such matters are printed in full on the circular. The order is printed in full in another column.
