OLD GRANITE CURBING
——————————————
The granite curbing for the old fence in front of the Stone estate, on Washington Street, Winchester Highlands, was originally a part of the lock of the old Middlesex Canal at North Woburn. Years ago , when the canal had been abandoned, Mr. Stone bought this granite curbing and had it set up where it is today, including the granite posts. Part of the granite was also used for a foundation for his large barn.

PAULSEN BROTHERS QUARTET
The people of Woburn will have an opportunity Saturday May 14 to listen to one of the finest of entertainments. This will be by the Paulsen Brothers, and with them will be Mr. T. P. Callahan, clarinet, and Miss Maude H. [Littleton?], pianist.
The Paulsens form a string quartet, all being of high talent, entertainments having been given in Denmark with great honors.
The quartet in F minor will be played for the first time in this country. It was presented at the Royal Conservatory Concert in Copenhagen Dec. 13, 1902 and later Feb. 26, 1903 at a concert given by the [illegible] Society of 1860 with great success.
Paul Martin Paulsen, once a resident of Woburn, has just returned from Copenhagen where he passed five years studying at the Royal Conservatory. As a musical artist Mr. Paulsen stands high.
