Post office clerk Philip Hendricks took letter carrier James G. Keenan's route on Wednesday afternoon the latter being disabled by a bite from a dog received while delivering mail on Jason street on the morning of that day. The dog (a bull terrier) bit Keenan on the calf of the right leg, but the wound was properly cared for and dressed by Dr. Dennet and no serious results are apprehended from the same. |
