The Arlington Advocate, 22 November 1895

On the evening of Nov. 14 Mrs. Finn brought her son, Thomas, a boy about four years of age, to the station house, suffering from a wound in the forehead received from buckshot fired by Morris Roach from an air gun. Mrs. Finn claimed the shooting was malicious, but an investigation by the police satisfied them that the boy, while perhaps careless, had no intent to harm anyone with his shooting. Dr. Hooker attended the Finn boy and easily removed the shot from the wound, it having lodged just over the nose.
