The little building occupied by Ahern's barber shop, corner of Mystic street and the avenue, has been moved farther down the former street to make room for a building to be used for business purposes to be erected on the corner by the Finance Club.

POLICE COURT

Timothy Toomy was in court on Tuesday charged with a serious assault on John Ward, an iron bar being the weapon used. Toomy was able to show there were two sides to the story and to enable him to procure witnesses the case was continued to Sept. 18.
