Humphrey was in Ipswich, MA in 1635 and died soon afterwards. Susanna's second husband, Samuel Greefield, took over the property without authority before March 1638/9. George Gidding and Richard Lumpkyn were named overseers for the children. The court was ordered to settle the estate. Samuel was appointed the adminstrator and the court ordered the sale of the house, house lot, a planting lot of six acres and a farm of 120 acres as well as the sale of other items from the estate. The proceeds were given to Samuel to bring up the five minor children, the older, married children had already received their portions.

  • 2VIII. ANN- m.1. WILLIAM (1) TAYLOR, 2. George Pearson. Ann witnessed a Brusley deed as Ann Wyeth 25 March 1648.
