Daniel had a land grant in Kittery in 1669.

"I Daniell Goodin Senjor of Kittery... Planter... In Consideration of Daniell Stone, of the same Town haveing married my daughter, & haveing severall children by her, & for ye naturall Love I beare unto my sayd daughter, & to her sayd husband, & all the sd Children, as a part of the Marrage portion of my daughter do... give... unto the sd Daniell Stoone a Prcell of Land, scituate & liing in the Town of Kittery & Contayneing five Acres more or less, as is bounded with ye River at high water marke, on the West, James Emerys Land on wch hee dwelleth, on the South, & the Land of Daniell Goodin Senjor on the East & on the North, It being part of a grant of Land formerly made by the Town of Kittery unto mee the sd Daniell Goodin Senjor... the foure & Twenteth day of May, one thousand six hundred seaventy & nine- Daniell Goodin his marke X... in ye Prsence of Stephen X Jenkines, Daniell Gooding".(3)

From the inventory of the estate of Patience Spencer in Nov. 1683 is the following item: "It one hide at Daniel Stoons ye shoemakers..... 00 08 0".(5)

"Daniell Stone aged about 43 years, testifyeth yt sometyme in August last being desired by James Emery Senjor, to go & see what wrong was done to him by John Roberts Junjor of Dover In sd Emerys Marsh, at the lower end of his house lott in Barwicke; There lay too rafts of Connows, with thatch grass upon them & sd Roberts comeing towards sd Connows, the sd Emery asked him who It was yt had Cutt that Cricke thatch, there, & ye sd Roberts answeared, yt It was hee & his Company had done It, & yt hee would heare them out in It, & so the sd Roberts & his Company went to Cutting more of it forth with, in thie Deponents sight, & It was upon the same Land, that Ensigne Abbett testifys to bee ye sd Emerys Land, & sayd Emery warned the sd Roberts not to Cutt or carry away any of it, but sd Roberts answeared hee would Cutt & Carry it away In spight of his teeth.

Taken upon oath this 25th of March 1686... Daniell Goodine Junior aged 30 : years, testifyes to the treuth of ye above written testimony of Daniell Stoone..."(4)

Daniel was on jury duty on 25 Feb. 1690/1, 2 June 1691 and 29 Dec. 1691.(6)

"I Daniel Stone of Berwick... Cordwainer... in Consideraton of ye sum of Eleven pounds... paid by Benjamin Libbey of Berwick... husbandman... do... sell... a Certain Tract or parcell of land Containing Thirty Acres being ye Moiety or halfe part of Sixty acres of land laid out unto Daniel Stone Senr decd by vertue of Two grants of ye Town of Kittery one of which grants bares date March ye 20th 1678/9. The othre granted him my ye 10th 1703 and which Together with Twenty Acres Laid out to Jonathan stone in one Intire piece makes Eighty Acres... in ye Township of Berwick... which sd Thirty acres of land was given and bequeathed unto me by my father Daniel stone decd as p his last Will & Testamt... this Eighteen day of July Annoq Domini Seventeen hundred & Sixteen... Daniel Stone... In the psence of Joseph Woodsum, Nathaniel Gubtail".(7)

"In the Name of God Amen I Daniel Stone Ser of the town of Kittery in the Conty of york in Her Majesties province of the Massachusets bay in New England being sic of body but of sound and disposing sence and memmory Blessed be god for it doe make this my Last will and testament in manner as followeth...

1ly I give and bequeath unto my son Jonathan Stone all that my tract of Land Lying beyond the dirty Swamp and all ( ) of my out Lands excepting thirty acres to him and to his heairs for ever

2ly I give and bequeath unto my son daniel Stone all my Homested Lot of Land with the house and barn and orchard standing theiren to be his after his mothers decease and his and his heairs for Ever and thirty acres of ( ) Lands to be his at my Decease

3ly I give and bequeath unto my daughter mary five shillings

4ly I give and bequeath unto my daughter Margret five shillings

5ly I give and bequeath unto my daughter Rachel five shillings

6ly I give and bequeath unto my daughter patience fie shillings

7ly I give and bequeath unto my daughter Abigale five shillings

8ly I give and bequeath unto my duaghter Sarah five shillings

9ly I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth five shillings

10ly I give and bequeath unto my daughter Leah five shillings

11ly I give and bequeath unto my Loving wife patience all my homestead Lot of Land with the house and barn and orchyard Standing theiron for her Comfortable Maintainance during her Natural Life and all the rest of my Goods Chattels utensiles and Estates what soever Abroad or at home without doors or whthin I give unto my Aforesd wife and to be at her disposeing for Ever

12ly I doe Constitue and Appoynt my Loveing wife patience to be the Executrix to this my Last will and testament and also my son Daniel Stone to be an Executor with his mother and this my Last will and testament to be in force according to the tennent and true Intent their of Renounsing and Revoaking Any and all wills whatsoever heretofore by me made or caused to be made In witness hereof I have hereunto set my hand and seale this twenty Eight day of march Anno Domni one thousand seven hundred and thirteen

Patience and Daniel Stone Executors of the last will and testament of Daniel Stone lat of Barwick in the County of yorke decd made oath to the truth of the within Inventory and if any more of the Estate of the sd Daniel Stone deaced shall come to their ( ) hereafter they will give it in to the Registers"(1)

"In The Name of God Amen I patience Stone of the Town of Barwick in the County of york in his majesties province of the Massachusets bey in Newengland widow and Relect of Daniel Stone Late of Barwick aforesd being weak and Ealing but of sound and disposing sence and Memmory blessed be god for it Doe make this my Last will and testament first and principally I Resign my soul to god that gave it hoping through the Merits of my Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to obtain pardon of all my sins and my body I Commit to the Earth to be deassently buried at the Discreation of the Executor to this my Last will and testament and as for this worldly goods the Lord hath lent me After my Lawful Depts and funaral Charg is paid I give and bestow as followeth-

1ly I give and bequeath unto my Son Daniel Stone a pare of ( ) and one flax Comb
2ly I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Rachel grant one puter platter
3ly I give and bequeath unto my Daughter patience waymoth one puter platter
4ly I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Sarah Libbey one puter platter
5ly I give an bequeath unto my Daughter Abigale Goodin one puter platter and two pleats
6ly I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Elizabeth Stone one puter platter and one Bason and my great Iron pot and two puter plates
7ly I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Leah Stone one puter plater an one Chafin dish and two puter plats and my ( ) Iron pot
8ly I Doe give and bequeath unto my two foresd Daughters Elizabeth and Leah my two feather beds and all the furniture belonging to them both and all my bed Cloathes of Every sort both wooling and linning and all my wearing Cloathes both wooling and Linning or Any other sort and also my warming pan and Table ( ) to be Equally devided between them both
9ly I give and bequeath unto my Eight Daughters of the Six herein Already named and to my Daughter Mary Martin and Margret Gould All the Rest of my Estate goods or Chattels Rights and Credets and usentiles whatso ever without Dores or within Abroad or at home to be Equally devided Among them all
10ly I Doe ordain and Appoint my Brother Daniel Goodin to be the Executor to this my Last will and testamint Renounsing and Revoaking all or Any will or wills by me hereto fore made or suffored to be made In witness hereof I the foresd patience Stone have hereunto set my hand and seal this Eighteen Day of feabruary Annon Domni one thousand seven hundred fifteen:sixteen/ 1715/16
