1. WILLIAM-

b.c.1498
m.c.1518 AGNES PICKWORTH (will 24 Aug. 1568-27 Oct. 1571 (3))- ?d. of William Pykworth of Horbling
will 6 May- 17 May 1549 Horbling, Lincolnshire

St. Andrew's Church- Horbling

William Jackson and one other made a list of the "harness of Horbling" which they took to Lincoln in 29 Henry VIII (1537/8). This was the town armoury and locals were taxed towards its upkeep. William Jackson paid 8 pence. William was an Alderman of Horbling in 1538 and 1540. He died in early May 1549 within a few days of making his will.

Agnes was likely the daughter of William Pickworth as William Jackson referred to his "brother" Richard Pickworth of Sleforth in his will.(1)

A John Jackson, yeoman of Donington made his will on 13 Feb. 1554, however, his relationship to the family is not known at this point. (2).
