The purpose of these websites is to compile and collate information
about various families and individuals of MADDEN who came
to Australia before 1880 , so that every person born prior to about
1880 is on this list .A few more recent people will also turn up,
especially in WA & SA .
This should help at least some of us to make family links or contact other
Madden researchers .
On this particular page , only those who came to Western Australia & South
Australia are shown .
There are many "unclaimed people" , so it is very untidy at the moment.

references to that person across states , etc ., so that possible links
might be made . Also , they are needed to link married women
back to Male Madden lines and to clearly identify the person in the biographical
section (below the main index), which can hold more info than one line of the index.
Married females , whose surnames now differ , will appear in a
separate list that follows the main list .(When time permits)

and brother of Daniel Anthony Madden of Victoria.
He was educated at South Melbourne Grammar , then moved to WA in 1885 and became an
accountant at the National Bank of Albany and Perth. Retired in 1903.
'Anthony' died in 1935 at Kelmscott, aged 82.
Florence died in 1952 aged 93 at Subiaco.
