Batemans Bay is a town in the south coast region of the state of New South Wales, Australia. Batemans Bay is about 280 kilometres (170 miles) from Sydney and 760 km (470 miles) from Melbourne and about 150 km (95 miles) from Canberra, and can be reached via Kings Highway. In the 2011 census, Batemans Bay had a population of around 11,334.
