     Albert Joseph Jones was born on 21 August 1897 at London, England; and his birth was recorded at Paddington Registration district in the September quarter 1897.1,2,3,4,5 He was the son of Abraham Albert Jones and Emma Maria Pulcheria Denayer.1 Albert Joseph Jones appeared on the census of 31 March 1901 at 37 Edgware Road, Paddington, London, England, as Son, age 3, birthplace Paddington, London.1 He was educated between 4 September 1909 and 23 July 1914 at South Western Polytechnic School, Chelsea, London, England; where he was a Day Scholar. He appears to have had total exemption of fees, his Father's occupation was 'Carver and Gilder, artisan', and his occupation taken up on leaving was Interpreter.4 He was executor for his Mother and the National Probate Calendar for 1930 records Probate was granted at London 'to Alfred Louis Jones storekeeper and Albert Joseph Jones bank clerk' on 13 February 1930.6 He died on 6 May 1976 at Alanvale, 26 Rusland Park Road, Harrow, Middlesex, England, at age 78; and his death was recorded at Brent, Greater London, in the June quarter 1976.7,8
