[Part 1: Street, Commercial, & Trades Directories)' as:

     'Tilt Joseph, custom house agent, 158 Fenchurch street'


in 1841.6 He appeared on the census of 6 June 1841 at Prospect Place, Southwark, London, England, as Head, age 55, born in the county and he was a Customs House Agent.       Susannah Brown Ruthven was also known as Mrs Susan Ruthven.2 Her married name was Tilt.1 She was born circa 1790.3 She married Joseph Tilt, son of Rowland Tilt and Lydia Osborne, on 23 October 1813 at St Mary, Newington, Surrey, England.1,4 Susannah Brown Ruthven was beneficiar mentioned in the Will of Simon Hillatt #63, written on 31 March 1835 and proved on 25 February 1837, as being 'Mrs Susan Ruthven my wife's relation' on 25 February 1837.2 She was beneficiar mentioned in the Will of Mary Hillatt #307, written on 27 March 1837, as being 'Susan Ruthven of Prospect Place Southwark', which was proved on 18 August 1838 on 18 August 1838.5 She died before 15 April 1853.6,7 She left a will on 15 April 1853; proved on 15 April 1853 as:

      Robert William Shepherd also went by the name of Bob Shepherd.2,3 He was born on 14 September 1923 at St Arnaud, Victoria, Australia.1,4,5,6 He enlisted in the Australian Army during WWII and his place of enlistment was St Arnaud, Victoria, he gave as his next of kin Edward Shepherd; his Service Number was V240300, locality Coonooer Bridge, Victoria on 22 December 1941.4 He was Discharged from the Australian Army and his posting at Discharge was with the 9 Ordnance Vehicle Park AAOC on 23 October 1945.4 He married Agnes Catherine Arundel, daughter of Patrick William Arundel and Margaret Vannert Hamilton Bowie, on 13 July 1946 at Australia.1,2 Robert William Shepherd and Agnes Catherine Arundel lived in 1949 at 27 Reed Street, Gellibrand, Newport, Victoria, Australia; where they appeared on the Australian Electoral Roll, when he was listed as a Mechanic and she was listed as doing Home Duties.7 Robert William Shepherd and Agnes Catherine Arundel lived between 1954 and 1963 at 76 Maddox Street, Newport, Altona, Lalor, Victoria, Australia; where they appeared on the Australian Electoral Roll, when he was listed as a Mechanic and she was listed as doing Home Duties.8 Robert William Shepherd died on 3 January 2013 at Victoria, Australia, at age 89; and his death as Robert William (Bob) Shepherd was announced in The Herald Sun (Melbourne) the next day, age 89.3
