      Her married name was Tune.3 Emily Margaret Madden was born on 18 June 1899 at London, England; and her birth was registered in the September quarter 1899 at Fulham Registration district.3,4,5 She was the Daughter of Walter Herbert Madden, Railway Clerk and Organist in 1901, and Harriet Emma Lovelace, both born in Westminster, London.6,7 She appeared on the census of 31 March 1901 at Hammersmith, Middlesex, London, England, as Daughter, age 1, birthplace West Kensington, London.7 She appeared on the census of 2 April 1911 at Holmsdale, Chesterfield Road, Ashford, Middlesex, England, as Daughter of Walter Herbert and Harriet Emma Madden, age 11, birthplace Kensington, London. Her parents and four siblings completed the household.8
