Her married name was Westbrook.2 Edith Jane Sayers was born on 25 May 1888 at Twineham, Sussex, England; and her birth was recorded at Cuckfield Registration district in the June quarter 1888.1,3,4 She married George Edwin Westbrook, son of Edwin Westbrook and Mary Ann Andrews, in 1909 at Sussex, England; and their marriage indexed as George Edward Westbrook and Edith Jane Sayers, was recorded at Cuckfield Registration district in the December quarter 1909.2 Edith Jane Sayers appeared on the census of 2 April 1911 at 143 Trafalgar Road, Portslade By Sea, Sussex, England, as Sister of John Edmund Sayers, age 22, birthplace Twineham, Sussex. She had been married one complete year and had one child born alive and still living.1 She and George Edwin Westbrook lived on 29 September 1939 at Sussex, England; where they were on the 1939 Register in the Portslade-by-Sea area.5 Edith Jane Sayers died in 1952 at Sussex, England; and her death was recorded at Hove Registration district in the March quarter 1952.6
