     Walter Gordon Ager was born on 7 January 1919 at Subiaco, Perth, Western Australia, Australia.2,3 He was photographed with his parents in 1919 at North Perth, Western Australia, Australia.4 He was the son of Walter Stephen Ernest Ager and Isobella Jack.2 Walter Gordon Ager married Dorothy Ethel May West on 10 January 1942 at St. Margaret's Presbyterian Church, North Perth, Western Australia, Australia; and their marriage was announced in The West Australian of 2 February 1942 as 'Cpl. Walter Gordon, elder son of Mrs. I. Ager and the late W. S. E. Ager, of North Perth, to Dorothy May West, protege of Mrs. J.
