     John Millist was born circa 1700.2 He married Mary Jacobs on 11 November 1728; by MLA.3 John Millist left a will on 4 February 1766; John Millist of New Haw, Chertsey, gentleman 4 Feb 1766 on my marriage with wife Elizabeth jointure made; I have provided for my two daughters Elizabeth wife of John Vincent of Pyrford , yeoman and Mary wife of Richard Roake of Horsell, gentlemen of £1,100 each on marriage; all my messuages and land to my only son John and all my goods paying £1,100 to youngest daughter Ann Millest at marriage or 21 and interest until then at 4½% and if she dies £1,000 to my son and two other daughters; to wife Elizabeth £100; to my sons in law Richard Roake and John Vincent £20 each to my friends James Hole, snr and Jasper Gray if living £5 each; residue to my son John, exec. with sons in law above.

Proven 23 Jul 1767. He died before 23 July 1767.2
