      Annie Ezekiel Solomon was also known as Anne Solomon.3 She was born on 8 June 1846 at 16 College Street, St Augustine, Bristol, Avon, England; and her birth was recorded at Bristol Registration district in the September quarter 1846.4,3,5,6 She was the daughter of Joseph Solomon and Catherine Benjamin.2 Annie Ezekiel Solomon appeared on the census of 30 March 1851 at Bristol, Avon, England, (Transcribed as Anns Solomon) as Daughter, age 4, birthplace Bristol.7 As of 1866, her married name was Ezekiel.8,2 She married Emanuel Ezekiel on 5 September 1866 at 16 Warrington Terrace, Maida Hill, Kensington, London, England; and their marriage was recorded as Emanuel Ezekiel and Annie Solomon, at St James Registration district, London/Middlesex, in the September quarter 1866.8,9,10 As of circa 1867, her married name was Van Noorden.2 Annie Ezekiel Solomon and Emanuel Ezekiel had four children.9 Annie Ezekiel Solomon appeared on the census of 2 April 1871 at 106 Euston Road, St Pancras, London, England, as Head, married, age 24, birthplace Bristol.11 She appeared on the census of 3 April 1881 at 3a Sidney Place, Soho, London, England, as Annie Anne Noorden, Assistant to Hairdresser and Perfumer, widow, age 30, birthplace Bristol, Gloucester.12

'Her certificate says her daughter in law was present and her will leaves her very small estate to her son John...19,20,21'

She was buried after 8 April 1930 at Ridgeway Cemetery, Clifton, Bristol, Avon, England; and her English epitaph reads:

8th April 1930, Aged 83 Years.

     John Crichton Jones was born in 1887 at Willesden, Middlesex, England; and his birth was registered in the December quarter 1887 at Hampstead Registration district, London.2,1,3 He was the son of Henry Aaron Jones and Annie Ezekiel Solomon.1 John Crichton Jones appeared on the census of 5 April 1891 at 13 Cambridge Avenue, Willesden, Middlesex, England, as Son, age 3, birthplace Willesden, London.4 He appeared on the census of 31 March 1901 at 13 Cambridge Avenue, Willesden, Middlesex, England, as Son, age 13, born Willesden, Middlesex.5 He lived between 1910 and 1913 at 173 Portsdown Road, Maida Vale, Paddington, London, England; where he was on the London Electoral Register as Lodger, 'Front room third floor, furnished', paying rent to his mother at the same address.6,7 He appeared on the census of 2 April 1911 at 173 Portsdown Road, Maida Vale, Paddington, London, England, as Son, age 23, single, birthplace Brondesbury, Middlesex, and he was an Audit Clerk, in the Accountancy industry '(chartered).8' He was named in The London Gazette Issue 29050 published on the 26 January 1915:

     'The INDUSTRIAL ARTS AND CRAFTS Limited. Special Resolution. Passed 30th December,1914. Confirmed 18th January,1915. "That the Company be wound up voluntarily, and that John Crichton Jones be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up."—Dated the 18th day of January,1915, 012 D. Haslitt. Chairman.9'

In a notice appearing in The London Gazette Issue 29086 published on the 2 March 1915:

     'The INDUSTRIAL ARTS AND CRAFTS Limited. Notice is hereby given, that a General Meeting of the above Company will be held at the offices of Messrs. Kerr and Ramsden, Moorgate Station Chambers, E.C., on Monday, the 12th April, 1915, at 2.0 o'clock in the afternoon, to receive the Liquidator's report, showing how the winding-up of the Company has been conducted and its property disposed of, to hear any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator, and fix his remuneration; and also of determining, by Extraordinary Resolution, the manner in which the books, accounts and documents of the Company, and of the Liquidator, shall be disposed of—Dated this 27th February, 1915. JOHN C. JONES, Liquidator. 003.10'

He married Frances May Coleman in 1920 at Somerset, England; their marriage was recorded at Bristol Registration district in the December quarter 1920.1,11 John Crichton Jones was executor for his mother and The 1930 National Probate Calendar reads: 'Jones Annie of 8 Caledonia-place Clifton Bristol widow died 8 April 1930 Probate Bristol 15 May to Louis Charles Danger solicitor and John Chichton Jones chartered accountant.12' He lived in 1935 at 9 Vyvyan Terrace, Clifton Park, Clifton, Bristol, Somerset, England; and was listed as John Crichton Jones, A.C.A. chartered accountant.13,14 He and Frances May Coleman lived on 29 September 1939 at Somerset, England; where they were on the 1939 Register in the Long Ashton area.15

     James Frederick Philbrook was born on 20 July 1899 at Norwood, Surrey, England; and his birth was recorded at Lambeth Registration district, Surrey, in the September quarter 1899.3,4 He was the son of Henry Arthur Philbrook and Eliza Jane Dicketts.1 James Frederick Philbrook appeared on the census of 31 March 1901 at Rose Cottage, Elder Road, Norwood, London, England, as Frederick Phillbrook, Grandson of James Philbrook, age 1, birthplace Norwood, Surrey.1 He emigrated on 22 June 1910; and he was recorded arriving as Fred. Philbrook, single, age 10, with his mother and three siblings on a Canadian Passenger List aboard the Empress of Britain travelling from Liverpool, England, to Quebec, Canada. He had not been to Canada before.5,6 He appeared on the census of 1921 at Opal, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, as Son, age 21, single, birthplace England, immigration year 1910 and he was a Farm Labourer.7 He married Loie Seville Crowther on 18 November 1931 at 3749 Triumph Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; by License and he was a 32 year old Bachelor, religious denomination Baptist, Automobile Mechanic, of Vancouver, birthplace London, England, son of Henry Arthur Philbrook and Lilian Dicketts. She was recorded as Lois Seville Crowther a 26 year old Spinster, relilious denomination United Church of Canada, birthplace Burnaby, British Columbia, daughter of Jno Wm Crowther and Hanna Seville. Their witnesses were John William Crowther of Burnaby, British Columbia and Henry Arthur Philbrook of Vancouver and the Clergyman was William Graham, United Church of Canada.8,9 James Frederick Philbrook and Loie Seville Crowther lived between 1957 and 1965 at South Fell Avenue, Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada; where they appeared on the 1962 Voters List as James F. Snr., mechanic, and Mrs Loie, accompanied by their son James F. In 1965 their son Alan was also listed.10 James Frederick Philbrook died on 9 June 1969 at South Fell Avenue, Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada, at age 69; and he was an Automotive Garage Operator.11,12 He was the subject of an obituary in the Vancouver Sun including his close relatives on 11 June 1969.13 He was buried on 12 June 1969 at Forest Lawn, Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada.4
