Almira Melissa Lesure. Republican. General in the Union Army during the Civil War; member of Massachusetts state
house of representatives, 1864-65, 1872, 1888-91; postmaster; Massachusetts state auditor, 1892-1900. Member, Grand
Army of the Republic; Loyal Legion.
