Lowell, Francis Cabot (1855-1911) — of Massachusetts. Born in Boston, Suffolk County, Mass., January 7, 1855. Member of Massachusetts state house of representatives, 1895; Judge of U.S. District Court for Massachusetts, 1898; Judge of U.S. Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit, 1905-11; died in office 1911. Member, American Bar Association. Died March 6, 1911. Interment at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge, Mass.
