GEORGE JOSEPH FELDMAN

Feldman, George Joseph (1904-1994) — also known as George J. Feldman — of New York. Born in Boston, Suffolk County, Mass., November 6, 1904. Served in the U.S. Army Air Force in World War II; U.S. Ambassador to Malta, 1965-67; Luxembourg, 1967-69. Chief author of a Congressional study which led to the creation of NASA as a civilian space agency. Died in the Bryn Mawr Terrace Nursing Home, Bryn Mawr, Montgomery County, Pa., November 22, 1994.
