AMOS KENDALL

Kendall, Amos (1789-1869) — Born in Dunstable, Middlesex County, Mass., August 16, 1789. U.S. Postmaster General, 1835-40. Died in Washington, D.C., November 12, 1869. Interment at Glenwood Cemetery, Washington, D.C. Kendall County, Ill. is named for him.
