Convention from New York, 1912, 1924, 1928; U.S. Representative from New York 37th District, 1919-22; U.S.
Ambassador to Germany, 1922-25; Great Britain, 1925-29; candidate for U.S. Senator from New York, 1928. Died in
South Dartmouth, Dartmouth, Bristol County, Mass., September 15, 1941. Interment at Hope Cemetery Annex, Corning,
N.Y.
