Sarah, b. in Rowley, Mass., 1751 to Joseph and Sarah (Hammond) Treadwell; bapt. 7 July, 1751; d. in Millbury, Mass., 23 Feb. 1837; m. in Oxford, Mass, 23 July, 1776, David Stone (named changed from Gale) of oxford, b. in Waltham, Mass., 6 Dec. 1750, d. testate 9 Dec., 1827.  she resided in Sutton. Mass., at time of her marriage.  he was a yeoman, and resided in
Oxford, that part now North Oxford.  Children: 1. David. 2. Joseph. 3. Sarah (mother of Clara Barton, famous through her work in the Red Cross Society). 4. Anna. 5. Jeremiah.
