TREADWELL, EDWARD, Ipswich 1637, was of Branford in 1646 and 8, of Southold, L. I. 1659. JOHN, Ipswich, son of Thomas the second by wife Mary had Elizabeth b. 16 July 1699. JOHN, Ipswich 1638.

NATHANIEL, Ipswich, son of Thomas the first of the same, m. 19 June 1661, Abigail, daughter of Thomas Wells of the same, had Abigail, b. 2 Feb. 1663; Mary, 22 Oct. 1665; Nathaniel, 1668, d. at 4 yrs; Hannah, 7 Feb. 1670; Thomas, 11 July 1672; Sarah, 15 Aug. 1674; Nathaniel, again, 13 June 1677; and his wife died 3 days after.

He married 25 Mar. following; Rebecca, daughter of William Titcomb, of Newbury, had Eliz. 18 Jan. 1679; and Rebecca, 8 Apr. 1686; was freeman 1682.

SAMUEL, Fairfield, propounded for freeman 1670, perhaps son of Edward, was quite aged at his d. 1718, leaving son Edward, had, also, Samuel, and Ephraim, both d. of which/who the latter's inventory was given in Feb. 1709.

THOMAS, Ipswich 1636, had come in the Hopewell, Capt. Babb, from London, in the autumn of 1635, having engaged his passage 28 July, then call. his age 30, with wife Mary, 30, and son Thomas 1 yr. and first sat down at Dorchester, but at I. had Mary, b. 26 or 29 Sept. 1636; Nathaniel, 15 Mar. 1640; Esther, 21 Mar. 1641; and Martha, 16 Mar. 1644; was sw. freeman 7 Sept. 1638, and d. 8 June 1671, leaving widow Mary, and children Thomas, Nathaniel, and Mary. His widow d. Dec. 1685. Esther m. 8 Oct. 1665, the second Daniel Hovey.

THOMAS, Ipswich, son of the preceding brother by his father from England married 16 Mar. 1665, Sarah, eldest d. of William Titcomb of Newbury, had Thomas, b. 3 Mar.

1666; John, 28 Nov. 1670; Sarah, 10 Jan. 1673; Mary, 9 Aug. 1675; and Ann, 16 Aug. 1679, d. young. He was freeman 1682. THOMAS, Ipswich. son of the preceding, shoemaker, by wife Mary had Mary b. 8 June 1691. Farmer notes that, of this name, four had in 1825 been graduates at Harvard and two at Yale.
