Abigail [Hovey],
married Sergeant Thomas, son of William and Grace (Dutch) Hodgkins, of Ipswich Dec
12, 1689; they lived n Ipswich; he was born in 1668; and died Nov. 16, 1719,
aged fifty-one; his estate was valued at L625; she survived him, and died, his
widow, Nov. 28, 1754. Children, born in Ipswich:
Daniel, born
Oct. 14, 1690; lived in Ipswich; married first, Abigail Hunt in 1714;
second Margaret Harris in 1737; he died June 1, 1773, aged eighty-two
years; his wife Margaret survived him. They had ten children.
Thomas, born
in 1692; lived in Ipswich; married, first, Sarah Ayers of Ipswich Dec. 16,
1721; she died June 13, 1728; he married, second, widow Hannah (Warner)
Stanwood, Jan. 20, 1729; he died Dec. 30, 1778, aged eighty-six. He had
eight children one of whom was Col. Joseph Hodgkins of the army of the
Revolution, and another, Abigail, married, first, Thomas Ross, and, second,
Andrew Burley, and lived to be ninety-nine years old.

living in 1737.
Esther,
living in 1737.
Ezekiel,
lived in Ipswich; married, first, Margaret Lakeman Jan. 20, 1731; she died
March 1, 1744. He married, second, Deborah (Heard), widow of John Hovey
(72) in 1746; and he died Sept. 13, 1777, having eight children.
Hannah,
married John Lakeman in 1735.
John,
baptized Aug. 16, 1713; lived in Ipswich; married Elizabeth Hovey Oct.
1738.
