BENJAMIN FRANKLIN WHITE

White, Benjamin Franklin (1833-1920) — of Montana. Born in New Bedford, Bristol County, Mass., December 3, 1833. Member of Montana territorial legislature, 1882-83; Governor of Montana Territory, 1889; Speaker of the Montana State House of Representatives, 1902-04; member of Montana state senate, 1904-08. Episcopalian. Died in Dillon, Beaverhead County, Mont., December 4, 1920.
