Albro, Harry B. (b. 1887) — of Harwich, Barnstable
County, Mass. Born in Pontiac, Warwick, Kent County, R.I., January 21, 1887. Republican. Served in the U.S. Army
during World War I; newspaper publisher (Charles Burgess remained publisher of The Falmouth Enterprise until 1925,
when he sold it to Harry B. Albro, a Falmouth selectman and representative in the Legislature. Albro published the
newspaper for four years and in 1929 sold it to a newly formed corporation called the Falmouth Publishing Company
Inc., which was owned by George A. Hough Jr. and his wife, Clara Sharpe Hough.); member of Massachusetts state house
of representatives; delegate to Republican National Convention from Massachusetts, 1948. Member, Redmen. Burial
location unknown.
